The scholarship celebrates veteran and dependent students who strive for excellence in their lives and provides a one-time payment of $2,500 for current or future education costs. Candidates must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree from a college or university. Candidates will need to answer the following essay question in 500 words or fewer: “Please tell us how you strive for excellence in your life. What are the accomplishments of which you are most proud? What challenges did you overcome to achieve what you have?”
