Must be a dependent child or spouse of New Jersey residents who were killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, or who died as a result of injuries received in the attacks, or who are missing and officially presumed dead as a direct result of the attacks. Eligibility period for a dependent child not to exceed eight years after high school graduation. Eligibility period for a dependent spouse not to exceed eight years after the date of death. Deadline for fall and spring students is Oct. 1 of the academic year for which aid is being requested; Deadline for spring term only students is March 1 of the academic year for which aid is being requested.
