How has or did the VUB program benefit you in your success as a student?
The VUB program has helped me by giving me mentorship and guidance to navigate the enrollment process and reintegration into the school environment. Also supplying me with school essentials to succeed, such as notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.
Did the VUB program have a positive impact on your academic journey?
The VUB program has been a positive impact in my education by providing me with stability in balancing school and the military life. They understand what it’s like to be in our position and give us an avenue of support.
In what other ways was VUB helpful to you?
Other ways VUB has helped me is by putting people in my life by putting the program, myself and other enrollees together in a networking environment where we can all go to each other when needed.
What would you say to a fellow veteran who is considering going back to or starting school? Would you recommend they work with VUB? If yes, how and why?
To a fellow active duty member or veteran looking to go back to school I would say. “it doesn’t need to be as intimidating as it seems!” And that VUB will be by your side to ensure your success.
